The beauty and the beast!

MOLLY4Well here I am again deputising for Michelle, but with a difference this time as I was joined by Phoenix FM’s resident beauty expert and Beauty Editor for the Essex Chronicle Media Group (including “GO” Magazine, Molly Miller to talk all things cosmetic. Since I am as qualified to talk about beauty products as an Ayotollah might be to discuss lap dancing clubs or blends of whisky, this proved an interesting experience (probably for both of us).

Nevertheless we persevered and you can listen to the results here: – Ask Molly 17th July

The products discussed this week were as follows: –

Laurens Way Glam Tan £22.95 www.laurensway.com

Dream Rollers – £16.95

Heaven Bee Venom Face Mask £73 50ml www.heavenskincare.com

Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Oil £31.50  www.timetospa.co.uk

Dermalogica –Multivitamin Power Serum £59.00 www.dermalogica.co.uk

Dermalogica SkinPerfect Primer £37.50

DHC Moisture Care Lipsticks  £11.50 www.dhcuk.co.uk

Philip Kingsley Swim Cap – £10.45 75ml www.philipkingsley.co.uk

Lord & Berry Lipstick Crayons www.lookfantastic – £8

CACI Microlift £350 www.caci-microlift.co.uk

In addition we looked at a couple of oddball stories taken from PHOENIX FM”s Department of “WEIRD & WHACKY NEWS”.

First off came the news that a lawyer in the US who is suing Apple for his addiction to porn. Itapple seems he allegedly mistyped “FACEBOOK” into his browser and accessed porn to which he has become addicted. He claims that he is a victim of Apple’s product which was sold to him without any warning of the damage that seeing these images might do. Not the first time that man has been lead astray by an apple!

When I get home I’ll call my lawyer to prepare a case against the manufacturer of my TV based on the mental anguish I have faced by looking at the JEREMY KYLE SHOW.

australia-as-far-as-the-moonOur education system is failing even more than we thought as a survey just conducted by deodorant maker, LYNX has revealed that 1 in 10 people believe that the Moon is closer to the UK than Australia. Worrying isn’t it?

Furthermore 25% think it is possible to get mobile phone reception to call home whilst in orbit and 40% would prefer to take a holiday in space rather than in Spain. Seems to me that some of them are already not living in this world anyway!

Right until next time, I’m off into the sunshine for a beer and maybe a facial – who knows?
