First up tonight I was joined in the studio by Stevie Watts from London’s The Tax. Since we first spoke to the band in November, they’ve released the single Motorway and are releasing another single, Am I Ever Gonna Get You Back?, in April, followed by a UK tour. As we found out from Stevie, the band have plenty of plans for the year ahead, with more new releases and gigs even further afield! Later on, FallPath were here for a chat and live session (me with Luke [guitars], Alex [vocals], Ben [drums] & Jay [bass]). The Brentwood-based foursome first joined us for a Phoenix In The Foyer gig in November. Since then, they’ve recruited a new drummer and written several new songs, none of which sound alike apparently! Following on from a successful appearance at The Hermit earlier this month, the foursome can next be seen playing live at Chinnerys in Southend on February 22nd.
