False Pretences

On Friday the 2nd Nov Rob was lucky enough to interview a brilliant, newly-published author by the name of Heather Moore.

At the age of just 16, Heather began writing a book for fun. Once she had finished, she just left it on the side thinking that nobody would be interested. Little did she know, that she was holding back what could soon become one of the biggest books this Christmas (if you all go out and buy it for your Mum for Christmas that is. That and you’ll be helping both Heather and yourself out. Hint Hint!)

Anyway, after reading an article in a girly magazine (not that we recommend you do this) she found that publishers only read the first 3 chapters to see if a book is any good. Well, the first 3 chapters of “False Pretences” (that’s the title of Heather’s book, by the way) are good. And how do we know that without having read it yet? Because a publisher has paid to have it printed! Available from WHSmith, Waterstones and Amazon right now online, you will soon be able to walk into a store near you and pick up your copy for real.

Not only is Heather a newly-published author but she is a full-time employee for Saint Francis Hospice too! You can hear the full chat with Heather right here…
