Once again the sun was shining (and we haven’t been able to say that too often on a Saturday this year)! This was the weekend the Olympic Games came to Essex – Hadleigh to be precise and with the weather behaving itself we had the music to match the occasion. From Hot Chocolate’s EVERYONES A WINNER to QUEEN belting out WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS we had it all today.

The icing on the cake came in the shape of Frances Clamp who presented the final part of her look at all the events surrounding THE PEASANTS REVOLT in 1381 as part of our BRENTWOOD & BILLERICAY BYGONES feature.
