1995 D’ukes and Donna Summer

Quite a show today! Very much enjoyed having my guests D’ukes in the studio in the second hour, but first off it was back to 1995 for an hour of the best selling music of that year:-

Del Amitri – Roll to Me

The Top Ten Selling singles were

1. Unchained Melody – Robson & Jerome

2. Gangsta’s Paradise – Coolio

3. I Believe – Robson & Jerome

4. Back for Good – Take That

5. Think Twice – Celine Dion

6. Fairground – Simply Red

7. You are not Alone – Michael Jackson

8. Earth Song – Michael Jackson

9. Missing – Everything but the Girl

10. Country House – Blur

Then in the second hour as an introduction to D’ukes, 3 @ 3 this week was from the ukelele!
Three tracks featuring the instrument were –
Train – Hey Soul Sister/Joe Brown – I’ll See You in My Dreams/George Harrison – Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea
D’ukes joined me around 3.15 and as well as playing 4 great songs, we chatted about their upcoming D’ukelele festival at the Cramphorne Theatre Chelmsford next Saturday. You can here the whole Session and inteview here:
