As always on a Saturday afternoon we kept up to date with the scores involving Brentwood Town and Billericay.
In the Ryman Premier League, 429 people saw Billericay Town beat Harrow Borough 3-0 and they held on to the top spot in the league thanks to their goal difference.
Brentwood travelled to Bayliss Avenue in the 1PM kick-off against Thamesmead Town and after controlling most of the first half Danny Drafter scored in the 35th minute. It was a deserved win for Brentwood and has kept them in 8th place in the Ryman League Division 1 North, just 2 points from the play off places. In the league West Ham didn’t pull it off away to Derby, losing 2-1.
The late kick-off in the Championship finished Leyton Orient 1-0 Charlton.
Southend travelled to The Fans Stadium and beat AFC Wimbledon 4-1, in a great way to end the year.
Colchester beat Exeter 2-0.
