Thorndon Stride 2011 for Cancer Research

Really doesn’t feel like a while year since the last one, but once again Phoenix 98FM were proud to support this big event.

Once again, many hundreds of you turned out to walk through the stunning scenery of Thorndon Country Park; event organiser Darren was on hand to tell us why this is such an important event and cause. The Mayor of Brentwood, Councillor Joan Holmes opened the event; you can hear both of them and the other highlights of this brilliant event by clicking below.
