Today saw the first of my Saturday PACKED LUNCH shows. I was especially excited as for this first show I was joined by JAZZ BLAACK, a young and very talented recording artist from around Burnham-on-Crouch. Since the start of this year Jazz has already released three songs and made many personal appearances up and down the country. Not content with singing Jazz also writes songs as well.
Her latest release features hit guitarist, Jan Cykra from Gun n’Roses. Jazz is already making waves across the Atlantic, where her song America has received critical acclaim following airplay in Nashville.
If singing and composing was not enough, Jazz is hard at work studying for her A Levels in English, History and Law at William de Ferrers School in South Woodham Ferrers where many of her fellow pupils are actively supporting her, featuring in the video of her first release earlier this year. The full interview with Jazz is attached, together with a photograph taken in the studio.

Frances presents “BRENTWOOD & BILLERICAY BYGONES” and was talking this week about the history of Warley Barracks up to 1918. Next week, in part two of this talk, Frances will be elaborating on what happened at the barracks between the wars, but she will be talking to Alan Johnson whilst I am away.
