It’s an odd feeling to say one of your friends has been signed by a record label, but that is the case for my friend Greg Hummell, (Apidae), who has signed to Swedish label, ‘Dumont, Dumont’. And since his latest single was officially released on Monday, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to play it on my show, and show my support for my friend. Congratulations if you’re reading this!

As for the other songs, I had a lot of new music sent to me over the last few weeks, and this week I got to play some of these.

My track of the week went to an exceptionally good up and coming band by the name of ‘Hyena’. After seeing them supporting ‘Dolomite Minor’, twice, I can truly say I would go and see them at one of their own shows! A very good band, and I definitely expect big things from them this year! Watch this space!
