Christmas eve is finally here and don’t we all know it…aw..so great music and stuff to make us feel good. Well our sides are about to burst along with our poor old wallets – still we get to sloth out, so not all bad….

It is fast approaching our last Christmas  in the Baytree Studio, for we are soon to open a big present of a shiny new studio complex in January 2012; I’m all emotional – I really can’t wait…as I love new things and places.

Now Twofer’s today featured Jon and Vangelis, the collaborative effort between the singer Jon Anderson (the lead vocalist of the progressive rock band Yes) and the Greek synthesizer musician Evangelos Papathanassiou who is usually known as “Vangelis”. Together they released a number of successful albums in the 1980s -we played ‘Find my way home’ and ‘ I hear you now’

A surprise to many might be that gift cards are still some of the most wanted items this year. It lets the receiver choose what they really dream to get this season.

Simple gift ideas like leather belts or polo shirts for men and trendy bags or high heels for women are still in demand.

7. Entertainment Tickets

Kids would love to see Six Flags or Disney World tickets in their stockings on a Christmas morning.  On a smaller scale, tickets to a 3D movie theatre are a great idea as well!

One of the most wanted gadgets this season is iPod touch. It plays music and movies, lets the users play games, record video, take pictures and more. An alternative to iPod touch is its smaller and cheaper sibling, iPod nano.

9. DVDs

Whether it’s a movie or a favorite TV show, people love getting DVDs for Christmas. Blu-ray disc is a great upgrade for an enhanced watching experience.

10. Money

Simple and some people may say materialistic, but the truth is that one of the most popular gifts every year is money. Whether your children or brother is saving for a bigger purchase or you just don’t have any idea what your friend would like to get, money is always a good alternative.

Following his much acclaimed BBC TV series and his sell-out season last year, Stewart Lee returns to the Leicester Square Theatre with a brand new show.

Covent Garden Comedy Club — Lee Hurst – 31st Dec 2011 • Heaven

Lee Hurst will appear at the Covent Garden Comedy Club, under the arches at the Heaven nightclub. Lee is best-known for his stint as a team captain on “They Think It’s All Over”. Other comedians on the bill will include ZoeLyons, Sean Meo and Bryan Lacey.

Paul Merton, at the Comedy Store – 1st Jan 2012 • Comedy Store

Paul Merton will be joining the Comedy Store Players for a night of comedy improvisation at the Comedy Store. Other comedians on the bill include Lee Simpson, Andy Smart, Suki Webster, Niall Ashdown and Steve Edis.
