‘Twas the show before Christmas, and all through the studio, there were plenty of creatures stirring!
First up, Lady Grey & the Earls (l-r Graham, Justin, Amy, Paul, Mark) were back for their third Curveballs Christmas Special!! Last heard on Phoenix FM when they took part in our Creative Sessions, over the past year they’ve welcomed new drummer Mark to the fold and recorded a new demo. You’ll be hearing plenty more of that and them when they head back out onto the gig circuit in the new year, starting off with the Bitter End in Romford on January 21st with plenty more to come. On the subject of regular guests, I also chatted to our most frequent guest of the year, Alex Hoggett, from The Felonie and Secret Agenda. We also got to hear a Christmas track he recorded alongside Matt from the FiftyFours and a few other musical friends too, under the name Hound Doggs – the track can be downloaded from https://hounddoggs.bandcamp.com/.
