Another busy one tonight…
First up I was joined by a good buddy of the show, Lee Bowers. Since recording a Creative Session for us in February, Lee has played a series of local acoustic gig nights and recorded a new EP, due for release early next year, and from which we heard 2 tracks in the studio. Next I was joined in the studio by new local trio Loving Forty-Four – Alex (drums/guitar/vocals), Charlie (bass) and Jamie (vocals/guitar). Alex and Jamie were previously on the show as members of I Write Lies, but describe this new band as a more brooding, grungier sound. They are currently recording songs for their debut release in the new year, when they plan to head out on the local circuit. A name to watch – and you can do just that at their Facebook, Soundcloud, Reverbnation and Twitter.
