We’ve been playing more and more Fightmilk on Phoenix FM over the last few months and that’s not going to stop now their second album Contender has reached our ears.

It was great to chat to Lily, Alex, Healey and Nick about the band’s origins, the ideas that have come to fruition on the new album, and their plans for the future.

Lovers of indiepop will have a lot to enjoy on this album – there isn’t a weak song on the album, and with so many good songs having been crowbarred in* it’s the perfect antidote if Corvid-19 has been getting you down.**

Malta, 1941

You don’t have to wait long to see them live either, albeit in a virtual capacity. You can see them perform the whole album at Paper Dress Vintage on Friday 4th June – tickets are just £4 and available here.

Keep an eye on their Facebook, Twitter and Bandcamp pages – as they’re definitely set to inherit the earth someday.
