Every Sunday from 10am we will be promoting local and unsigned artists from our open mic night which takes place Monday nights at The Essex Arms in Brentwood from 8pm. This week we have songs from local artists:

This week’s show is for Paula Allibon. Paula has been attending the open mic sessions since Jon Good began hosting them at the Essex Arms towards the end of 2017. Although not a singer herself, Paula regularly attended to listen to and support the local singers and songwriters, making her a big part of the open mic family. Jon and I would like to express our gratitude to Paula for the unwavering support and encouragement she has provided to many young aspiring singers over the years.
Unfortunately, Paula has recently been unwell and has received a diagnosis of terminal cancer. She is currently receiving care at St Francis Hospice. Today’s show is dedicated to you, Paula, and we want you to know that everyone misses seeing you at the Open Mic. We are all sending you our love ❤️.
