Tonight I chatted to one-man electronica powerhouse Martin Byrne aka The Big Boss. Martin’s musical journey has been a varied and fascinating one, from starting out with his first band in his home city of Auckland, New Zealand, before moving to the UK in the mid-80s and experimenting with various genres. After an extended break from music, Martin returned with the experimental electronic sounds of The Big Boss in the mid-2010s and released his fifth album, Inner Space, earlier this year, with more new material already in the pipeline.
