Which way is best?

On today’s programme we reported on the former beautician from Wales, 29-year old Jessica Caldwell, who has quit her job and it’s claimed is now earning thousands a month after becoming a full time witch.

She splurged on spell books, tarot cards, and crystals, and quickly set up a social media account for her business through which she now services more than 5,000 clients who it seems, all need her magic touch in one way or another.

“I’ve always been a witch,” she said. “I just never had the tools to utilise my power until now. Intuition is a powerful tool that I never realised I used in my daily life.”

Her interest piqued when she came across a paranormal group on Facebook 4 years ago which was filled with posts where people explained their journeys into witchcraft.

”It fascinated me and I felt really drawn to know more,” she said.”At first I was extremely sceptical, but I was really curious and became obsessed. I felt like it was a pull towards it all, it felt really natural to me.’’

Her business really took off in 2020 when she began to charge for her magical mends but she also gives free advice on spell work and spirituality. showing people how to create protection charms and even show them how to attract people to you.”

What can I say?

In the second part of the show today, I was joined by Margaret Mills who related the story of Gladys Turbard, known as “The Queen of Laindon”.

It seems that Gladys was renowned for being the first woman employed by the Post Office in Basildon, spending 36 years delivering mail from 1941 until her retirement in 1977. In the early years her round was generally rural.
