Its been a while since WE ARE ALL FOSSILS have been in the studio after their last stunning live performance, so it was a joy to have Jakob back to perform live and to talk about his new release, Cecelia .
WE ARE ALL FOSSILS are a project consisting of Jakob, Dan and Marc who release music as a group or individually.
I was lucky enough to see Jakob performing live at HMV Chelmsford on Saturday to a great crowd in store. His performance was beautiful. His songs have meaning, great hooks that you’ll be singing long after the song has ended and of course his distinctive voice. People often want you to describe a voice to liken it to someone else but Jacob’s voice is original, soulful, soft but has the power to reach high haunting notes.
Jakob said “We’re all fossils in the end”.
His new release Cecelia is out now, the album Monologue Station will be released this year.
