Where to buy Christmas card packs?

Oh dear – need last-minute packs of Christmas cards for an office event or to hand out at school? Or perhaps you’re super organised and getting it done before the rush. Sincere congratulations in that case, I’m sure you’d rather be settling down into the festive spirit and leaving the thought of Christmas shopping for another day. Fortunately, there are plenty of options out there. From the supermarket to high street card shops. There are also online retailers, like Boomf, with a much larger breadth of designs. It doesn’t have to be just snowmen and Christmas trees, why not Shrek in a Christmas hat? Why not man city midfielder Jack Grealish with reindeer horns? With all that in mind let’s help you find the perfect card for whoever the celebrants are.

What design should I choose on a Christmas card for the office?

Well, that all depends on the type of people you work with and the size of the team. We all love Christmas – but there’s no doubt that some take the season a bit more seriously than others. There’s nothing wrong with that, I should add. When it comes to Christmas it’s really a case of ‘you do you’. Want to swap your roastie for a curry? Go right ahead. Not really a fan of Mariah Carrey? Fair enough. But that’s pushing it.

Think about your audience and what they might want to receive. Baby Yoda handing out Christmas presents might not cut it.

  • If you’re a small, intimate team, you can probably afford to go a little bit out there. It’s all inside jokes and workplace banter with you anyway. So something silly might be the way to go, it’ll at least be memorable.

  • If you’re looking for a larger, more professional design, then stick with the classics. Just because it’s professional doesn’t mean it has to be boring, of course! If you’re looking for a large collection of cards (to give to your employees, perhaps), then pick a charming or snazzy design that takes that sleigh right down the middle of the road.

Should I order online, or go out and buy?

There are pros and cons to this of course. If you’re in a rush I’d advise braving the high street. If you think you’ve got time – online is really the way to go if you want a card that is a bit more special than the usual holiday fare.

Whatever you end up going for will no doubt be appreciated by friends and colleagues. I hope these tips have come in handy – now go out and have a very merry Christmas!
