Simon Eastwood – Bandwiches – The good, the bad & the ugly of Gig Food

It was great to catch up with Simon Eastwood (Australia) to talk about his fantastic page/community called Bandwiches (link below)

You will find the good, the bad and the beige of foods served to musicians during gigs. As a musician myself I have seen many of these offerings and the odd occasions of the absolutely gorgeous plates of deliciousness’. As Simon points out, if its in the contract to feed the band then feed the band. Remembering that musicians travel, set up, sound check, gig, break down equipment and drive home. Yes a musician can bring their packed lunch, warm from the car journey and 5 hours old but if its agreed to feed with the catering company, client, then please no more beige.

Musicians from all over the world share their food photos and their comments. Trust me, some of the comments will make you roar laughing.

Simon

Take a pic of your best and worst efforts you wonderful musos! Sensational or sludge? Marvellous or measly? Brilliant or bulls*it? A lighthearted look at culinary offerings to musicians all over the world.
