In this special edition of The #AsYetUntitledRockShow we pay homage to one of my all-time favourite rockstars. Meat Loaf has been a permanent fixture of our rock show in the section I lovingly named “a slice of Meat Loaf” – his epic, iconic and deeply powerful music always had a place on this show and although we’ve been on a hiatus for a while, if there was one man who I’d gladly work a little overtime for – it would be Meat Loaf. In his live performances he always gave 150% more than anybody else ever could and his music touched people in so many ways. Meat Loaf’s songs are timeless masterpieces that have had hugely profound effects on a lot of people’s lives. In this show we enjoy two hours of “Meat Love” with a few of those incredible songs and some messages, memories and thoughts from artists and friends of the show.
