BRENTWOOD COUNCIL UPDATES with CEO, JONATHAN STEPHENSON

Great to have the CEO of Brentwood Council, Jonathan Stephenson LIVE in the studio with this weeks updates.

COUNCIL UPDATES

TOPICS

  • Petrol/Diesel Shortages

  • Brentwood Business Showcase News – Including Speaker Barry Hearn OBE

  • BEBA. The Brentwood Business Showcase on October 20 will see the launch of a new Brentwood Environmental Business Alliance (BEBA) aimed at encouraging businesses to sign up to an innovative Carbon Neutral Pledge. The new initiative will ask companies to commit to making decisions based on conservation criteria that best supports the Ecosystem, and agree to seek opportunities to improve the local environment.

  • Brentwood Centre News. Everyone Active has over 30 years’ experience managing more than 200 leisure facilities in partnership with 61 different local authorities nationwide. Everyone Active has an excellent reputation and considerable expertise around the country for creating exciting and enticing leisure centres. The Brentwood Centre is vital to the wellbeing and health of the borough and I would like to thank all the residents and members for their continued support. It has been a considerable period of transition with Brentwood Borough Council taking the reigns in 2020 and all the staff involved in that handover worked incredibly hard facing the challenges of lockdown restrictions on top of everything else to get the Brentwood Centre reopen and looking better than ever. The new gym is amazing and the membership has increased dramatically since the council took over which proves that the Centre is as relevant today as it has always been.

  • Plans for the New Football Hub are on display at The Brentwood Centre
