A Tribute To Greta “Always remember little girl that sometimes something that looks like a major disaster is the best possible thing that could of happened to you” A

Received sad news today that Greta, who I was very fortunate to interview twice, in my time at Phoenix, has sadly passed away. Interviewing Greta has to be one of the highlights of my time as a radio presenter at Phoenix FM.

Greta was an absolute joy to interview, an incredible woman. Greta had lived in Brentwood for most of her life. We talked about her earliest memories, happiest times, childhood, living through World War Two and what she thought of today’s society. Greta was ahead of her time in a male dominated world and in this short interview you will hear her strength of character and determination.

QUOTE from 102 year old GretaAlways remember little girl that sometimes something that looks like a major disaster is the best possible thing that could of happened to you”

Our condolences are with Greta’s family at this sad time.
