Active Essex are excited to launch a ‘Keep Essex Active’ campaign on their website, an initiative designed to keep the residents of Essex healthy and moving despite the barriers they may be facing due to the current Covid-19 pandemic.
The new facility is signposting visitors to a number of amazing activities for Essex residents to get involved in. These range from resources and ideas to videos and online workouts. This includes showcasing their brand new ‘Keep Essex Active’ YouTube channel, featuring local instructors who have tailored routines for all audiences, from family to over-65s workouts.
The Chief Medical Officer has expressed the importance of exercising during this time. Scheduling exercise into daily routines is very important, so Active Essex are promoting a live stream timetable which will be situated on their new YouTube channel. They will be sharing something new to do each day from the comfort of viewers’ own homes.
The new features can be found at www.activeessex.org/keep-essex-active. This week’s live timetable is also available at www.activeessex.org/keep-essex-active-youtube.
