It’s my party!

We reported today on the activities of some party loving ladies in Scotland.

Now we’ve heard about police having to break up parties of people, especially in Manchester but from Scotland comes news of a police raid which produced an entirely different result.

Neighbours had reported images reflected on window blinds of what looked like people dancing as music blared out, but when raided by officers, they found a 35-year old woman, Melissa dancing round the kitchen with her cat, Ciro to music from the band Usher in the midst of an on-line video drinks party involving 6 people in different locations.

One of the participants, Gemma Cullen a carer from Govan, noted that Melissa had nipped away from the camera and seemed to be talking with someone.

She initially assumed that Melissa had sneaked her boyfriend in, but when a policeman appeared on the screen, she announced, “Oh great- you’ve ordered us a stripogram!”

But after a 10 minute chat, the officer left still fully clothed and the party continued!

Being a Tuesday I was joined once again by Margaret Mills who told us today about the days when motor racing was “de rigueur” in Essex.

Yes it seems that between about 1949 and 1952, the big names in motor racing were drawn to Boreham.

Listen again  here to what Margaret told me today:-

See you once more next week,
Scott
