On this week’s show we had Hedley Lamarr introduce Jimi Hendrix and Sean Connery introduce The Selecter. We discovered Steeve Coogan’s brother’s band and recalled when The Dame met Nina Simone. We celebrated Booker T and Arthur ‘Pooch’ Taveres’ birthday and remembered Tom Robinson smoking a spliff, Joe Jackson releasing an album that wasn’t an album and simply remembered dear John Walker. We also saluted service men young and old and sung a song for peace with John and Yoko. Plus we guessed lyrics from The Piranhas and tested your chart knowledge on what year The Dame and Slade both enjoyed #1 records, one of which provided me the excuse to mention West Ham winning the FA Cup. #LLTB!
