Writing and presenting a late-night show on community radio has to be something you enjoy doing. I mean you don’t get any financial reward for doing it, so why bother in the first place?
Well, you need to have a love for radio and music, that’s a given. Then you must want to produce the type of show you’d want to listen to, and hope that the radio station you work for is satisfied with the standard each week and that you have listeners who enjoy it.
For me it was a good excuse to spend two hours just sharing and talking about the music I love, and occasionally mentioning West Ham winning the FA Cup.
Thank you if you have listened to any of the 70 editions of ‘Off The Record’, and to everyone who contacted me during or after the shows. Your kind comments and support were really appreciated.
If you missed it this week, you can click on the link below to listen to the cool for ‘pod cats’ version of Tuesday night’s show.
