October is always a stressful month in the Williams household for one very simple reason. Glastonbury tickets go on sale. Anyone that knows me will tell you that I’m a little bit obsessed (a Glastobore) and the stress levels go through the roof at 9am on the first Sunday of October, when the golden tickets are released. We had 45 people trying to get tickets in groups (it’s a maximum of 6 tickets per booking) and 27 of us were succesful, including at the last moment, our group!! So I will be going to my 15th Glastonbury in 2020, and am hoping not to injure myself next year!
So I had a weekend off to attempt to get said tickets, but I did play the following soothing songs in October –
Janet Jackson – Come Back To Me
Sinead O’Connor – You Do Something To Me
Brownstone – 5 Miles To Empty
The Lone Bellow – You Never Need Nobody
Alison Moyet – Should I Feel That It’s Over
Ed Sheeran – Dive
My chosen video is an amazing live performance by The Lone Bellow. They have sold out two shows in London at the start of the year, but have announced a show at EartH in Dalston in May.
The way the three singers harmonise live is a joy to behold. Enjoy
