Today’s Guest Is Jade May Jean
Jade is a self taught singer, songwriter who has taken part in numerous competitions both locally & globally. Frequently gaining a lot of gigs – solo, full band & acoustic.
Jade has been a support act for ‘The Brand New Heavies’, ‘Dawn Penn’ and ‘Janet kay’.
She has played in venues such as ‘The Montreux cafe’ at both Harrods in London & Paris. And in other prestiges venues such as ‘The Savoy’.
Jade has taken part in BBC Ones ‘The Voice UK’ in 2014. She got as far as the battle rounds in which she was eliminated. Jade gained a lot of exposure and fan base from this platform which allowed her to put on her very own concert in her home town – Ipswich which was a sell out!
Jade is always looking to broaden her horizons and expertise, she is currently learning to play the piano and read music.
She has been awarded a Triple Distinction In Musical Theatre & A Distinction in a Popular Music Recital – Grade 8
