Marillion, Steve Hogarth & The As Yet Untitled Rock Power Ballad Show

The As Yet Untitled Rock Show went soft(ish) this week with a rock power ballad special. We stood, in power stance, in an imaginary wind tunnel with dry ice everywhere, raised our fists and pulled them down slowly in front of our faces with a meaningful expression all night – it was awesome.

We were also joined by a very special guest, Steve Hogarth. The lead singer of Marillion talked to us about how he joined the band when Fish left, what it’s like to front a rock band for 30 years, playing live all over the world, conducting weddings in a cafe and something pretty special that Marillion have planned in November.

You can hear the full interview below;

As you heard from the man himself, you can see them performing live on tour with friends from the orchestra this November – all the dates are on their website at www.mariliion.com – tickets are on sale now.

You can still enjoy some of the highlights from my radio shows and full interviews with all my guests on Phoenix FM via my podcasts “Stewart Pink on Phoenix FM” and “Now You’re Talking” – both are freely available wherever you get your podcasts from. For full details click here.
