An Australian landlord has thoughtfully come up with the novel idea of letting a one bedroom apartment for two tenants, by suggesting that the property would suit shift workers, who could then alternate their sleeping arrangements depending on their working hours.
Yes the ad reads “Room to rent for 2 night time workers and 2 daytime workers, ideal for shift workers.”
And in the second hour Margaret Mills returned to tell us the tale of the man from Buckhurst Hill who demanded that Queen Victoria should settle his gambling expenses and bar bill.
She was not amused!
