I was highly anticipating the release of Maren Morris’ second studio album: ‘GIRL’. Her debut record: ‘Hero’ is one of my all time favourites, and for this reason, I was excited to hear the second installment. It certainly lived up to my expectations – perfectly collaborating Morris’ authenticity and retro feel with a coming of age, modernist outlook. The album combines slower ballads with upbeat tunes. Personal favourites of mine include: ‘Flavor’, ‘The Feels’ and ‘All My Favorite People’. I am much looking forward to seeing Morris at the Royal Albert Hall in May.
