Tonight I was joined in the studio by Edd Coates and Steve Hewitt for chats and live sessions… Inbetween them chatting to each other about how they’re both obsessed with the music of David Gray…

First up was Edd, a Brentwood local who has been a regular guest on Phoenix FM for many years, who joined us just ahead of his appearance at Lighting Up Brentwood at the weekend. Edd has been working on a new album, which is due for release in February, and told us all about the LP’s running theme of mental health, and played two tracks which will feature on it – click below to watch them! Next up it was Steve, who also has a new album (his first) in February, entitled Bigger Than Words, and played us three tracks live from it, including new single Pushing Me Away.
