This weeks number 1 is Sophie Griffiths with her cover of Billie Eilish’s I Don’t Wanna Be You Anymore. This is Sophie’s third number 1 with this song, her second consecutive number 1 with this song and her 6th number 1 on The Sunday Sessions.
Sophie Griffiths is a 16 year old singer/songwriter from Brentwood, Essex. She has been singing her whole life, but only publicly at school, charity events and open mics for the last two years.
Sophie has written and recorded four of her own songs which will be released as an EP later this year. ‘A Thousand Times’ is already available to download on iTunes, Spotify and all the usual sites. The track is also played regularly on the Phoenix FM Friday Night Extra radio show.
