Wow, we finally got a fine Bank Holiday!
On today’s show we heard why Suffolk County Council have had to re-name “cat’s eyes” as “road studs”.
It seems that signs warning that “cat’s Eyes” were being removed upset some children and tourists who believed that cat’s were forcibly having their eyes removed.
Extraordinary!
We also reported a new survey of 18-25 year olds who thought that the parliamentary term “filibustering” referred to some new wild sex act – although quite what this might entail is unclear.
God alone knows what they think Black Rod is, and as for a “Three Line Whip”, well the mind just boggles!
See you again tomorrow,
Scott
