Chris Scull and Tom Craine have joined the Phoenix FM team!
Who are Chris and Tom?
Chris Scull (on the right) co-hosts the popular “Quickly Kevin” podcast with Josh Widdicombe..
Chris is also the presenter of West Ham TV and the former host of the award winning Knees Up Mother Brown West Ham podcast.
Tom Craine (on the left) is an award winning stand-up comedian, screen writer, and sketch performer.
Tom writes the hit BBC3 sitcom series Josh with Josh Widdicombe, has written and starred in two critically acclaimed BBC Radio 4 series with his sketch group Jigsaw, presents The Tom Craine Story Show for Radio X, and made his feature film debut alongside Ricky Tomlinson in Gloves Off in 2016.
Tom has performed stand up on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3), and appeared on shows such as Drunk History (Comedy Central), Safeword (ITV), and as a series regular on Weekend (ITV). He has also hosted investigative reports for Inside Out (BBC1) and the hour long documentary Glastonbury: Jesus to Jay-Z (BBC1).
At the Edinburgh Festival Tom has gained countless 4 and 5 star reviews for his shows, as well as Critics’ choice in The Guardian, New Statesman, Daily Mail and Independent, as well as Top 5 shows at the Fringe in The Times. He has also supported Rhod Gilbert, Josh Widdicombe and Russell Kane on tour.
Tom is also a much in demand writer. A core writer for every series of the RTS Award winning The Last Leg, his CV also includes Mock The Week (BBC2) and QI (BBC2) amongst many other shows. He has also written for The Guardian, while his monthly column for Cosmopolitan Magazine (Sex & The Single Guy), won Best Column at the UK Dating Awards.
