It was such a privilege to have Chris ‘The Guvna’ Haynes in on my show last Sunday, I’ve know Chris for many years, he is such a great guy, and I want everyone to support him in his mission to raise money for Cancer Research UK, heres a little bit about how he is going to do that….
“I am participating in Ultra White Collar Boxing for Cancer Research UK because its a great cause. I will endure 8 weeks of hard training and I am ready to push myself past my limits in achieving my target fund raising amount! With your help we can make a difference. The fight will take place on Sunday 25th June @ Evoke nightclub in Chelmsford, Essex. I want everyone to come down and support me, its going to be a great day. And I want to say a huge thank you to ‘Bonds Of Brentwood Jewellers’ for sponsoring me.”
I was shocked to find out that Chris had only started Boxing in January, although it has always been a life long dream of his to take up the sport. His determination is really quite amazing, and he is always out and about doing whatever he can to raise money and sell tickets.
Cancer effects so many people, whether you yourself are going through treatment, a loved one or friend, we all know just how devastating cancer can be so… come on lets support Chris!!
