“Benjamin has certainly put himself up there with the best…” – Blues Matters

“…stripped back melodic guitar and a voice that is strong and warm curling around the lyrics that have something to say.” – Bluesdoodles

Waltz Away – Live

He first appeared on my show over two years ago and floored me with his guitar and vocals singing the blues. I liked his voice so much I went to see him live in the evening and was blown away by how great he was.

Two years later and Benjamin is on even better form and still only 22 years old. His guitar work makes you think there are two other guitarists playing along to the blues. His voice and lyrics (his original works are beautiful) are those of an older soul trapped in a young persons body.

Always with Ben is his Dad, David, who travels to every gig and who shuts his eyes and breathes the music with his son. A close knit family who support Ben all the way with his music, including lugging guitars, p.a. systems, driving to gigs and on occasions sleeping in the car rather than paying for a hotel.

There have been many highlights for Ben, including supporting Jo Harman last year as well as up and coming Blues Festivals and other secret events he is going to reveal later this year!
