Billericay Town’s new owner Glenn Tamplin is urging the town to get behind his club as he aims to take them from the Ryamn League to the Football League over the coming seasons.
Completion of the purchase of the club will take place in the next few days but Glenn has already injected funds into the team, having signed eight new players in the last 10 days.
Speaking to Phoenix FM this morning, Glenn says that he has a strong vision for the club but needs support in helping the club to progress.
Glenn said:
“I am bringing money, drive, passion, desire, commitment and unity to the club. We’ve got very high hopes that our new players will make an impact.
“We want our fans to be on the journey from the start. These are exciting times for Billercay Town and its supporters.”
The Blues are currently 11th in the Ryman Premier but only 5 points from the play-off places with games in hand.
Their next home match is against the Metropolitan Police tomorrow (Saturday) at 3pm, followed by another home game against AFC Sudbury on Tuesday at 7.45pm.
