Matt Cross is a 21 year old singer/songwriter from Grays, Essex.

Matt describes his sound as indie, rocknroll, mixed in with a bit of blues. His main influences come from the 60’s and 70’s British bands such as the Stones, Beatles, Kinks and T.Rex, but also drawing from songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Noel Gallagher and Alex Turner.

Matt only picked up the guitar around a year and a half ago and have been writing songs for about 7 months. He have posted a few demo’s onto Soundcloud for that same length of time, the first song posted was the first song he ever wrote.

Currently in my final year (final weeks) of university where I’m studying Economics. Once he finish the degree he looking at releasing my debut EP within 2 months of finishing, whilst gigging to hopefully build up some momentum before the release.
