This week we got in touch with our theatrical side as I chatted to Jake Burtenshaw, director of upcoming Halloween production The Turn of the Screw, which can be seen at Chelmsford’s Old Court Theatre between October 27th and 31st. Based on Henry James’ gothic tale, it’s guaranteed to make your Halloween go with a scream! Tickets can be bought from www.ctw.org.uk.
Click above to listen back to the interview to hear Jake talking about what how the original play’s influence is still felt today, as well as some reminiscing about when he first appeared on Curveballs back in 2009 under a very different guise, and what he’s been up to since then – which involves a few well-known films!
