On today’s programme Margaret Mills told us all about the man known as THE SPIDER MAN of STOCK. He was actually a chap called Charlie who worked as an ostler at the Bear Public House in Stock. His house trick was to disappear up a chimney in one of the pub rooms and then re-appear down a chimney in another room.
