This weekend on Between the Lines Aaron Heanue had his eyes across many sports, with the Women’s World Cup match between England and Mexico taking place in the evening along with England v Slovenia in the men’s qualifier the following day. Aaron also previewed the Le Mans 24 Hour race, looking to be a straight fight between Porsche and Audi with the event starting at 2pm.

We brought news from the Brentwood Strawberry Fair, including an interview with the president of Old Brentwoods Rugby club, talking to us about the acorns – for children up to 14.

Phoenix FM’s newest presenter, Sonny Jay, was also with us and gave us a preview of his new show on Phoenix, which starts at 10pm this coming Friday.
