Imagine 100 people sat in a living room in North London watching Bastille perform live.
Sounds crazy right?
Well it happened!
With all the ticket sales going towards War Child, a charity who helps children effected by war, as part of BRITS week a company called Sofar Sounds co-organised a gig in somebodies house with Bastille as the headliners, and I was there.
Sofar Sounds wants to change the way live music is experience by putting on quiet and intimate gigs where the audience sit and listen.
Not only was I in the same room as the band, I also got to meet them and have a chat with lead singer Dan Smith. He told me all about their upcoming album and how much support he has for War Child and Sofar Sounds, and you can listen back to it below:
For more info on War Child and what they do check out their website: www.warchild.org.uk

Want to see some pictures and videos so you can imagine what it’s like to go to a Sofar Sounds gig and be so close to Bastille? Of Course you do!
And I couldn’t be in a room with Bastille without getting some selfies….
