Tonight I was joined in the studio by locals High/Low (l-r Dave, Steve, Lee). Originally formed in early 2013 by singer/guitarist Steve and bassist Lee, they first appeared on Phoenix as part of last year’s Creative Sessions. They went on to record their debut album, Stuck in a Void, later that year. A few months back, they recruited drummer Dave to complete the line-up, and High/Low make their return to the live scene this month with two Southend gigs, starting at Saks Underground on the 19th before a set at Chinnerys on the 21st. They can be found online at www.wearehighlow.co.uk and the album Stuck in a Void can be found on Bandcamp.
