My Guest on this weeks show was talented young singer songwriter and former Britains Got Talent (BGT) contestant Molly Rainford.
Molly who is from Barking, Essex, popped into the Phoenix fm studio to talk about her latest music, and her career since being on the ITV flagship talent show BGT.
Molly was on the Show back in 2012, the year that saw a much talked about and epic semi final showdown with another of my Sunday Lunch Show Guest`s the lovable Rouges, The Rouges went through, and Molly then took the judges to deadlock before going through to the final via the public Vote, This was the year the show was won by pugdsy the dog, (it was only a matter of time Simon Cowell!!)
Molly who was just 11 years old at the time and– sang a beautiful rendition of `It Must Have Been Love`, which Simon Cowell described as “stunning”. He said:
“I like you when you’re just talking!
“I thought the song was stunning you controlled the room beautifully.” Now that’s a great compliment!!. Molly was also likened to Maria Carey, all in all it was by far one of the best shows of the series and most talked about.
Molly who is currently working on a new charity album for anti bullying campaign – (being launched 11th of August) chatted about her new upcoming music, song writing, and an exiting collaboration with another local singer, the one and only Pixi Lott (this was an exclusive for Sunday Lunch) watch this space you heard it here……
