Sunday April 6th
The competition centred around three bits of music ranging from ‘Underneath the Mango Tree’ from Dr. No. through some 70’s ‘Sand Between our Toes’ to ‘The Air that I Breathe’. This got you to the news stories about the air quality over the UK this week including atmospheric sand from the Sahara. The past week also saw the death of Frankie Knuckles and the 20th birthday of Britpop, so I played some Blur. The rest of the Playlist was like this
