Tonight I was joined in the studio by Chelmsford-based singer-songwriter Paolo Morena, just ahead of his set at The Bull in Colchester. Paolo releases his new EP, simply entitled Is, on July 7^th, and has picked up widespread acclaim for his live solo shows, which consist of him using a variety of instruments and a loop pedal to create a musical soundscape. There’s plenty of opportunities to catch Paolo live over the next few months – his next show is at Hylands Park, Chelmsford this Sunday (16^th) as part of the Boys Toys Fathers Day event, after which he can be seen at the Old Queens Head in Islington on June 30^th.
