Tonight I was joined in the studio by Southgate & Leigh, their second appearance on the show after joining us for a short session in September. The duo of vocalist Philippa Leigh and Phil Southgate (joined tonight by bassist Mark) originally met at the Edinburgh Festival and have since gone on to tour with Joan Armatrading and release their debut album Where We Are. They’ll be taking time out from putting together album two on December 2nd, where they can be seen playing the Billericay Christmas Market.
