Mike Jones and Lisa Chapman from the Thurrock Court Players came in to talk about their production of the hilarious comedy, Fur Coat and No Knickers. Besides being a regular presenter on Phoenix FM and many other national stations in his time, Mike is also film maker, director and actor. Mike is directing the comedy Fur Coat and No Knickers and Lisa Chapman has a starring role in the production as Edith Ollerenshaw.

Mike set out to discover little-know facts about Upminster from notorious visitors including Thomas Cromwell and the Lord Mayor of London in the 18th Century to the history of St Laurence Church.
‘Undiscovered Upminster’ has been created by resident Mike Jones who said “I want people to watch the film and to say to themselves that they didn’t know that about their town.”
