Did I try to flirt.. just a little. Its only natural. I have a face for radio and a laugh for the gutter!
Cracking interview with the brilliant TV Chef James Martin (BBC Saturday Kitchen).
James has a new series out on GOOD FOOD from Sunday 20th November at 9pm called James Martin’s Mediterranean.
We chatted about the new series, his love of boats (not), his love of cars (yes), my thoughts of Anthony Worrall Thompson (hubba
hubba) and of course cars as James is petrol head of the highest order.
James Martin and Good Food invite you to join them on a voyage of culinary discovery as they sail around
the Mediterranean, in search of the best locally sourced produce and fresh
ingredients, before cooking them up into a series of mouth-watering dishes.
From Chania and Elounda in Crete to Liguria in Tuscany, each episode of James Martin’s Mediterranean will
see him arrive at a different port, where he will meet a handful of local
chefs, farmers, and ex-patriots, before unearthing exquisite tips and takes on
the area’s cuisine and revealing how to get the most out of them.
As the sun sets over the stunning Mediterranean coastline, he will then invite the locals on board his
boat, where he will rustle up three sumptuous meals for them. From the easy to
the aspirational, the dishes will combine the ingredients he has discovered,
and reflect everything that he has learned throughout each stage of his
journey.
Each of the recipes featured in the series will be available on goodfoodchannel.co.uk,
as part of Britain’s most extensive database of 14,000 recipes.
